We use natural ingredients throughout - real juices, natural flavours and natural colours. Our colours come from things like beta-carotene and black carrot extract rather than anything synthetic. All three flavours are sweetened with grape juice concentrate. It's fruit-derived, fructose-based, and gives the drinks a clean finish without refined sugar or chemical sweeteners. It costs a bit more to use, but it's why the drinks actually taste of something. To ensure a twelve-month shelf life we use Vitamin C as a natural antioxidant and stabiliser, and all products are pasteurised to meet food safety regulations. By using fruit juices, we are not adding any additional sugar to our drinks but there is sugar in the juices that we use. Lakes Soda Sparkling Lemon contains 7.4g of sugars 100ml. Lakes Soda Orange & Pink Grapefruit contains 7.5g of sugars per 100ml. Lakes Soda Ginger & Lime contains 7.6g of sugars per 100ml.
